Power Pivot Data from Various Sources. Power Pivot can collate data from various data sources to perform the required calculations. In this tutorial, you use Power Pivot to extend the Data Model, create hierarchies, and build calculated fields from existing data to create new relationships between tables. If you have installed the 32-bit version of Excel, you must install the 32-bit version of PowerPivot for Excel.
